The Bancontact Payconiq Brand Guidelines

To ensure a consistent and professional representation of our brand across all platforms and integrations, we have established a set of brand usage guidelines.

This section further outlines the proper usage of our brand assets when incorporating our API into your applications, marketing materials, or digital products.

Following these guidelines helps maintain brand integrity and ensures a cohesive user experience for all stakeholders. Please review and adhere to these standards when referencing or displaying our brand in connection with your integration.

The Bancontact Payconiq QR Code

The Bancontact Payconiq QR code is branded with our mark. The branding gives trust and makes it easy for our users to see where they can pay with Bancontact Payconiq.

The Bancontact Payconiq QR code can be rendered in a web view container for quick scanning. A link is returned anytime a payment is created and can be easily rendered in a web view. This url makes use of Bancontact Payconiq’s QR code generation service. By default, the Bancontact Payconiq QR code is returned as a PNG with a small (S) size.

Our QR codes come in two flavours:

  • Magenta and White
  • Black and White

The Bancontact Payconiq Frames

Bancontact Payconiq provides a branding frame consisting of a magenta border and a Bancontact Payconiq logo. When presented on a consumer-facing screen, the Bancontact Payconiq QR code should be embedded in this frame.

When overlaying a QR code, please respect a 10% border around all sides of the QR code, like shown in the image below.

The Bancontact Payconiq Payment Button

There are two ways to display a Bancontact Payconiq payment button on a payment/check-out page for an online payment.

Complete logo (Preferred Option)

Whenever possible, we recommend to embed the complete logo as shown in the image below.

Please note that the minimum recommended size for the full logo is:

  • Minimum height: 20 pixels (40 retina pixels)
  • Minimum width: 120 pixels (242 retina pixels)
  • Minimum height: 4 mm

The full logo is also avaiable as an SVG here.

Simplified Mark

If you have limited space available for the payment button and are unable to display the full logo, you can fall back to only displaying the Bancontact Payconiq mark.

However, if this option is used, please make sure to add the word 'Payconiq' next to it then.

Please note that the minimum recommended size for the full logo is:

  • Minimum height: 14 pixels (40 retina pixels)
  • Minimum width: 31 pixels (242 retina pixels)
  • Minimum height: 3 mm

Additional Information

For pages with dark backgrounds, you can request our white logo via devsupport@payconiq.be

If the resolution is lower than the screen resolution please always use the SVG instead of the PNG to keep a sharp image.
